🏉 Penrith Giants Media Day – Big Results in a Tight Space
After our pre-media shoot and creative planning session with the Penrith Giants AFL Club, the big day finally arrived—and what a day it was. Over the course of just half a day, we photographed 150+ junior athletes, ranging from Under 6s all the way through to Under 15s. The shoot was a huge success, not just in numbers, but in energy, execution, and outcomes. This was the Giants’ first full-scale media day of this kind, and we were proud to bring the full LJC SPORTS experience to the field (and clubhouse).
From Planning to Game Day Execution
Our earlier prep session was key—it allowed us to walk the space, meet the team, and align on a creative vision tailored to the club's branding. This groundwork paid off in a big way. On photo day, we had a streamlined plan in place, and despite working out of a relatively small clubhouse space, we were able to create a mobile studio setup that delivered consistent, high-impact results. Our team transformed the room into a mini production house, complete with a clean backdrop, studio lighting, and our signature live tethered viewing monitor that got players, parents, and coaches excited as each image came to life in real-time.
150 Players, One Seamless Experience
The biggest win? Managing over 150 athletes in a single morning without compromising on quality, vibe, or individual attention. We kept the energy high with music, clear direction, and a friendly, efficient flow that helped even the youngest athletes feel confident and seen.
Parents were stoked, players were buzzing, and the final image sets speak for themselves—clean, bold, and true to the spirit of the Penrith Giants club culture. This shoot was another example of how LJC SPORTS delivers high-quality junior sports photography in Sydney, helping local clubs look as sharp and professional as the pros.
